Eve Online Client

Whats wrong with EVE Online? I just registerd/installed client, all i get is Server:Tranq Status:Unkown help?
I just Installed the new client after registration, all I get is Server: Tranquility Status: Unknown, is it just me or is this STUPID!? This represents poor game quality to me, anyone know a fix?
FYI the server comes down every day from 5:00 - 6:00 AM CT. And in that time the server status will be unknown because of the downtime.

Eve online-Caldari titan in 1.0 space
can a game like eve-online be played successfully by using a DSL connection?
Normaly i would play this using cable internet isp but my wife is trying to talk me into using less by using DSL and i know it's hugely slower than cable so can it work ok in the end ??? despite have to take 6 hours to DL the damn client ??
If you already have the client you wouldn't have to download it again just because you switched. Anyways, yeah it'll be fine. What the other guy said about it being slow in general and especially when there are many objects on-screen at the same time has nothing to do with your internet connection usually; usually it's the graphics card. Switching to DSL shouldn't make a difference in the playability of the game.

I haven’t actually played Starfleet Command, but from the gameplay section on your link the combat sounds quite a bit like EvE-online. It’s an MMO though so maybe not what you are looking for.

Brisbane were pratically 100% sure they were going to sign Hunt at the start of the season again but that didn't happen. It seems to me Parramatta is just trying to reassure the fans and keep them happy, the truth will be known once pen goes to paper.
