Eve Online Trial Account

Eve-Online Website Slow?

I've been trying to turn my trial into a real account, and everytime I try to use my credit card it barely loads, and after waiting 5 or so minutes, it comes up with some "unexpected error" message and asks to try again.

I was thinking that maybe there site's server is just overburdened right now?

well the fact the website of eve is not really slow, the loading speed of eve main site also depends on the players browser, internet connection and the machine, this game has a large or heavy graphics content so it may take time for lower version of machine to load it, make sure you got the following machine spec to avoid lags: (1.2gb ram, 512mb video card and a good internet connection )

in addition, while at game i suggest you must deactivate auxillary graphics content like turret effects, sun is occluded by ships, and for large scale combat must deactivate missiles effect and set your cache size to the highes level your computer can perform.

Eve online subscription question...?

I just created a trial account. If I activate my trial account with a cd key, in which it will add 30 days to my subscription, will my trial account become a normal account? A normal account as in a person that lets say, made his account the day he got the game and started playing without going through a trial account.

If I remember correctly, as soon as you activate, you witch from a trial account to a full account. If you still had some trial time left, it's lost. I'd just keep training until the last day of your trial, and then activate.
